Psalm 62:8 ye people, pour out your heart before him

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

Transfer all the things on your heart to God. Cry out if you need to. Even if that means yelling at the top of your lungs. Even if that means sobbing for hours. I mean it. Get it out of your system, get it out of your mind. Be open, be transparent. You may feel vulnerable, but you need to release the burdens, get rid of the weights, let go of all the heaviness. Give your cares to the Lord. Step into his presence, come before Him and lay it all down. All of it. Don’t carry some of the burden. Give it all to Him. He wants you to give all those cares to Him.

It is comforting to know that we can go to God and give him everything. We can’t always tell everyone what we are going through, but God knows. He knows what is going on in your life. He is there when you need someone to lean on. He is there to listen. He is there. Be unguarded. We can let our hair down so to speak. At any moment He is there.

Waterfall tears come streaming down

My heart is open in the glow of your presence

Out of an aching heart

The weight of the unknowns, the disappointments

A safe place I am

The fragrance of the sweet Savior

Swells my most inner part

I trade my dry land

For an ocean of milk and honey
