We live in a time where people are so afraid. They have crippling anxiety. They are scared to see what is going to happen from day to day. Gas prices soaring, sickness running rampant, gun violence occurring everywhere and so much more. We can go to God. We are safe and secure in Him. No fear in this camp. When everything around us is trying to cause us to fear, we can run to the Lord, and He will cover us. He will shield us; He will protect us. We have to know this especially in these dangerous times.
In the spiritual atmosphere, the dark forces are at work to cause things to happen to us. They are ultimately trying to destroy us. Physically and spiritually trying to destroy our soul. When temptations come and turmoil arises, that is the enemy strategically trying to get you to fall. Thank God there is a refuge. He is our refuge. Make Him your safe place. Spend much time in prayer. Know that He is with you. God never abandons His children. Knowing that God takes care of the little sparrows, He will take good care of you.
Clamoring calamity
Ritualistic dangers targeted for my head
Night comes but does not fall
Mindfulness on the prize
Remain endowed with faithfulness
Advocating against the adversary
Advancing overhead
Straight away I retreat
