Matthew 17:20b If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

In this day and age belief is being challenged more and more. We live in a society that is hard pressed to believe. There are people who do not want to believe in the supernatural. But that seems to only apply when it comes to the miracles, signs and the wonders of God. They think those things are absurd like the story of the Great Flood or the talking serpent or the parting of the Red Sea to name a few things. It sounds ridiculous to them but we are talking about God. He created all of these things. He made the earth we live on and all the life that is on this earth. Of course, He would have the power to control it and use it as He sees fit.

There is also the unbelief in Jesus. Who else in this world predicted His own death and resurrection? No one else has done this in history. There are no remains of the body of Jesus. He rose from the grave in three days just as He said He would and is alive today! This is why we believe.

We are being attacked in our belief system. Jesus is looking for those who will believe. He said in Luke 18:8, will He find faith on the earth when He returns? My answer is yes you will find it in me. This is my faith proclamation. I believe in Him. I want every shred of unbelief to be demolished and destroyed. We can increase our faith. How do we do that? We do that by hearing the word of God. That is how faith comes and the more we hear the more our faith grows. Let us feed on the word as often as we can to remove all the doubt within us.

Hunger for certainty

As I seek the One

My God is full of wonder

Open-ended to the max

Climbing up the hillside of faith

It extends to the heavens

Brick by brick

Layer upon layer

Up and overflowing

The awe inside me

Explodes giving credence

Grounded within it is
