2 John 2:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

The deception is certainly in the world today. I have heard this view pop up on social media that questions and even further doubts that Jesus is who He said He is. They do not believe that Jesus was God in the flesh. There is no belief in the existence of Jesus or that He was the Son of God. The spirit of the Antichrist is on the scene and is luring people into deception. Jesus is the truth. What He said he did. He predicted His death and resurrection in three days. It says so in Matthew 16:21, Mark 8:31, and Luke 9:22. He is the only sinless person. The only one that foretold of His death and resurrection exactly as He said. Isn’t is amazing how when you mention the name of Jesus, that people get so stirred. They get angry and even go as far as using His name as a profane word. Jesus is to be praised not used a curse word.

We have to make sure that we do not allow that spirit to take a hold on us. It is here and we have to be aware of what is happening in the spiritual realm. We exist in truth. We have the spirit of truth living, moving and breathing within us. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. As we stay connected to Him and permits Him to lead us, we will be protected from any lies of the enemy. The Holy Spirit will helps to discern the truth from a lie. God has His hand on us.

The tactic of the enemy uses is fear. That is where the deception begins. It is fear of not being in control of one’s life. It is fear of missing out on the good things of life. The things that this world has to offer. It is fear that induces the lie. We have to know that the beginning of wisdom starts with the knowledge of God. We have to recognize the need for the Savior. For something beyond our scope. Jesus was God manifested in human flesh. He revealed who God is and we can know God for ourselves only because of Jesus.

An encounter will bring the new

A change that rids the soul

I cannot imagine

I cannot fathom

How you over there
