Sometimes we look inward for strength. What we feel we already possess naturally. While we may have strength, we should continuously recognize our need for God. His strength is what we need when we feel weak.
God is reliable. His power holds us up when things want to weigh us down. Rest assured that when God is your anchor, He will help you weather the storm. It does not mean storms will not come but it means He is there on board with you. There may be times when God will silence the storm but the most important thing to note is that He is with you.
God is omnipotent. Let us ponder that for a moment.
The knowledge may escape us at times however, we must learn to rest in that and not take matters into our own hands. Thinking to ourselves, hey I got this. I can handle this one myself. But can we?
There may be times where we fill like who can I turn to? Who can I trust with this issue? The Lord is there to help us. He will guide, give us revelations, heal, comfort, and release us. He is there and has all the power to do whatever we need.
Hunched over like Notre Dame
Torn and worn
Falling over my own feet
Too steep and deep
For me to bear
I want to cancel myself
Push the button
Be gone out of sight
Profile page emptied
Blackened out
But God your my refuge
Your strength is here
To stand my up
Back straight
Focused like a laser beam
I look to the hills
My strength is on the horizon
Help is on the way
As I yield and pray
My God will supply my need
