The Lord causing His face to shine directly on you. Doesn’t that sound delightful! The light of the world shining His light on you. Simply put He has granted you favor. It is something that He has given you.
You may be thinking to yourself I don’t know if I have the favor of the Lord. Even though in this passage of scripture, God was talking to Moses. God is no respecter of persons and the favor that was given to Moses has been given to all who serve the Lord.
I think sometimes it is hard for some of us to believe the things that God has done for us. I think we get in our heads and think we are so unworthy of such favor. The love of God is something we may not always understand but just receive His love. Receive His grace. Receive all of what he has given you. It is yours.
Bow before thy excellence
The light of His love
Perfecting my heart
Rivers of tears roll down my cheeks
Humbly honored
By the hand of God
Protest I not
Within my spirit
I agree and receive
