Matthew 16:25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

When I first gave my heart to the Lord, I was a little girl, and sincere in my beliefs. I heard about the love of Jesus and it moved to me. I was stirred to respond to the call of salvation. I gave my heart to Jesus. As I grew and became an adult, there were times I drifted away. Not as closely walking with the Lord as I should’ve been, but God has a way of dealing with your heart. Even when you do slip away, he never leaves, he never abandons you. He’s always moving you towards him. I would say within the last 15 to 20 years I have been completely transformed by the love of God. When I was trying to find life in other things, they never satisfied. When I decided to completely surrender all to Jesus, my life has never been the same. I was looking for love and peace, but I found those things in Jesus. It is so unexplainable. Those relationships I had I thought would satisfying my soul, but I only found true contentment in Jesus. A huge part of my challenge was being content, but the more and more I started to yield myself to the Lord, the more and more I found richness and unspeakable joy.

Life begins where, here

The most essential part

So small yet so big

Open to you Jesus

To make your home

A soft place to stay

Stitched together

Inch by inch

All rooms occupied with love

Changed from the inside out

Shining by the Son

Delicate, cared by you

The essence of gratitude

Transformed into brightness

The heart is

Crimson red

Covered with Christ’s blood

Infused with hopeful joy
