We live in a world where people do not like to follow rules. They break the law, run red lights, cheat on taxes, lie in order to get ahead, steal things from people. Our world is broken. But we as believers must follow the rules. The law that God has given us is a guide to living. It is to be followed. The Word says to be doers of the word. Do is action. It is a way we live. We follow Christ and His example. We have to have knowledge of God’s word and then we follow what the Word says to do. The more we follow, the more we look like Jesus. The more we follow, the more we talk like Jesus. We become His disciples in every way.
Jesus lived a holy life. Set apart, anointed to do the will of God. As we follow the word of God, we become set apart, anointed to do the will of God. God is looking for people who will forsake this earthly life and seek the heavenly life.
Purified within His presence
Power to extinguish
Frailty exchanged for intense strength
Bound to a greater force
That sets and leaves me free
Cleansing me to holiness
No longer the same
New beginnings is my destiny
Lighted pathway to glory
Travel I will in delight
Turn from the world
Towards my father headed am I
Feeling real love
Filled is my vessel
