John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

This picture on this post makes me think of myself. Many times, I sit and contemplate a situation that is going on in my life just I was doing the past three days. I felt annoyed and frustrated and what always pulls me through is just sitting and having a talk with Jesus. I am reminded of the song, Just a little talk with Jesus makes it right. So much truth in that song. I always implore people to talk with Him. Release all the cares onto Him. Jesús did say to cast you cares on Him for He careth for you. Pour out your heart to Him. The sign says Jesus Saves. He saves me from having to figure things out on my own. He gives me the right perspective. I can and I do go to Him in prayer with my concerns. The beautiful thing is that Jesus is there to meet me and listen just like a good friend. He is who I turn to. I turn to the Rock of my Salvation.

Jesus wants us to know that He is our friend. He will reveal the things of the Father to us. That comes with having an ongoing relationship with Him. The more we spend time with Him we get to know Him better. The same way it is when we are getting to know people. You only really know a person by how much quality time you spend with them. You know what makes them tick. What makes them happy. What makes them sad. What types of things having special meaning for them and what things are not so significant. it is the same with Jesus. He knows us and He wants us to know Him.

See you Sunday

But what about Monday,

Tuesday and Wednesday?

Or the rest of the week?

Will I see you then?

You are my dearest friend

I am with you

Until the End

Of the Age and beyond

Come away with me

Get to know who I am

I am that I am

I am all you need

I am all for you

My love is never ending

My time with you is precious

There is much I want you to know

If you would come away with me

Your heart will be full
