We are designed for His purpose. We are to be used to showcase the glory of God. All that we do should bring Him glory. It is important to carry this out. It is done for the cause of Christ. This cause is to spread the good news of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. The gospel has an undeniable impact to the unbelieving.
The more we draw close to the Lord, the more we become like Him. We take on His attributes because we are communing with Him. His Spirit is infused within us so we have all of who Jesus is.
The Lord is instructing us to be holy which means set apart. We are set up to be His handiwork. He is reaching out through our hands. He is seeing through our eyes. He is speaking through our lips.
