I just heard from someone that goodness and mercy chase after you. They heard that from someone else. Goodness, you say. I have been intrigued to know what goodness is. It is something we hear and say but what is goodness?
The definition of goodness in a person is expressed through lovingkindness, generosity of spirit and deed, and the thoughtful consideration of others. Doesn’t that sound like God. His lovingkindness is better than life. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Thank God for His mercy. Think about it. His mercy endures forever. He pardons our sins and does not hold anything to our charge. God is not going to change His mind and say no wait a minute you need to pay for this transgression. As long as we are covered by the righteousness of Jesus, then we are forgiven.

Days are filled with good
Walking in your mercy
Absorbed by grace
My thoughts are toward you
