This is the same God of whom we belong. He is your father, my father, our father. This is the word spoken to Moses and the promises that He gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God kept His promises to these men of ancient times and He will do the same for you. He is a promise keeper. He fulfills His word. His word is His bond. He cannot break an oath.
With Abraham God spoke of making him a father of many nations. With Isaac God spoke to him and reaffirmed the promise He made to Abraham. With Jacob it was the same thing. God promised the Israelites that He would free them from captivity and give them the land that flowed with milk and honey. He reaffirmed this promise again with Moses and let him know that He was His father. What promises has God spoken to you? By being your father, He is taking care of you and will carry out every word that has been spoken over your life.
