Deuteronomy 11: 26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse.

Choice 1 or choice 2. It is up to you. A blessing or a curse. Laid out in front of us every day. It is a decision that is constantly lived out. Our mind has to be made up. Commitment is key.

Commitment is a word that requires action. When you are committed, that commitment will be seen in your actions. If you commit to a relationship, that means you will be faithful. You will spend time with that person to maintain the relationship so it can flourish. If you commit to better health, you will find ways to lose weight, keep the weight in check, get the proper rest and nutrition. If you commit to being a good steward of your finances. You will give firstly to God. You will have a plan to save money. Give to worthy causes and initiatives. Spend money wisely and soundly. You get the idea.

Commitment requires an investment. One hundred percent. No short changes. All in. Being blessed required commitment to doing what is right. It calls for us to look into the word of God and follow what it says.

Blessed is the man who walks after the Spirit and not the flesh. Blessings lead to life and cursings lead to death. When we listen and obey the voice of God, then we are truly blessed.

In front of me

I gaze upon the two

Narrow is life

Wide is death

An offering of hope

With a heart of surrender
